CityStep UChicago got started when two students, Alex Hannett and Emma Rifat, learned about CityStep from a CityStep Yale alum and decided they wanted to bring the program to their campus. They worked with CityStep HQ to research the feasibility of this newest CityStep Company, and had their first CityStep Fundamentals teacher-training workshop in November 2024. They hope to begin teaching in the local elementary school in Spring 2025!
